Long Island Man Busted With 150 THC Vape Cartridges, 2.5 Pounds Of Marijuana

A 26-year-old man was busted with vape cartridges that contain THC and more than two-and-a-half pounds of marijuana during a traffic stop on Sunrise Highway, the Suffolk County Sheriff’s Office announced.

A Sheriff’s deputy stopped Patchogue resident Sean Bell shortly before 12:45 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 27 when he was partially blocking the center median on Sunrise Highway in Brooklyn.

According to investigators, the investigation into the suspicious activity found that Bell was driving the BMW without an interlock device and his license had been suspended six times on six different occasions.

Bell was arrested and charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal possession of marijuana, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and driving without an interlock device.

Following his arrest, Bell was transported to Sheriff's Headquarters for processing. No return court date has been announced.
